My eldest is growing up! Not only is she able to drive and probably smarter than her parents at this point (don't tell her I said that), but she is gaining more and more freedom every week! Last week she called to ask if she could hang out with friends at a local diner and arrived home after me! This weekend she took her first ever ski trip with the Venturing Crew (scouts) and had a blast. And this summer she'll leave us for a writing workshop and youth group retreat in various states. She already has plans to spend the following summer in another country and "can't wait" to head to college (somewhere not near home). Ahhh- I miss her already. Happy to say she is her own person and a great one at that! I love this girl:)
