When my hubby went to introduce himself to the local P.D., they told him the most excitement in our area would be when the cows got out.... They weren't lying! For the past week, the cows in the field across from our house have figured out how to break out of their fence. It is truly the funniest thing I have ever seen. A couple are "good" cows and stay in, but we know when the naughty ones escape as we'll hear the "moo of shame" from inside the house. But it gets better - the only way they return to their pen is by the the local police who literally chase them back - sirens and all. Last night they had lights and spotlights going at 10:00 pm. And, they are still escaping despite being herded in by the police. Good thing they are not real escapees or we'd have a problem:)
